I’m a health coach in Boise, Idaho and I meet with clients online from all over the country.

Health coaching is a lot like playing chess. Each move matters, but no single move determines the whole game. You have to think strategically, stay patient, and adjust as the board changes. My role as a coach is to help you see the whole board — the patterns, tradeoffs, and opportunities — so your health decisions and health behaviors aren’t just reactions, but intentional moves toward long-term wellbeing.

Getting healthy isn’t about perfection — it’s about progress. It’s a process of awareness, experimentation, and steady change.

Most people come to coaching somewhere between Contemplation (“I want to feel better but I’m not sure where to start”) and Action (“I’m ready to make changes but need support to follow through”). Coaching helps you move through those stages toward Maintenance, where new habits become part of your life — not another plan you’re trying to keep up with.

My signature offers include Health Decision Coaching for clarity in stand alone sessions and ongoing Health Behavior Coaching to help you create habits that last.

HEALTH DECISION COACHING

The D.E.C.I.D.E. Method™ is my signature framework for Health Decision Coaching—a structured yet personal way to bring clarity, confidence, and calm to your next health choice.

Whether you’re weighing lab testing, treatment options, or lifestyle changes, this process helps you slow down, think clearly, and align every step with your values and long-term wellness vision.

We move from defining what’s at stake, to exploring motivations and collecting the right information, to identifying trade-offs and supports. You leave with a grounded decision plan—not just information, but more peace of mind.

HEALTH BEHAVIOR COACHING

The D.I.G. Framework: Digestion • Inflammation • Genes is my framework for Health Behavior Coaching.

I use a simple model I call the D.I.G. Framework - which stands for Digestion + Inflammation + Genes - to help clients understand their bodies and make connections between what they are doing (their behaviors), what they are experiencing (their pain points) and increasing their motivation to change and get healthier.

Think of these three areas (Digestion + Inflammation + Genes) as roots beneath the surface. When the roots are nourished and balanced, the “branches” — your energy, sleep, focus, and mood — can thrive. You can even support your diagnosis better. But when we don't pay attention to our digestive, inflammatory and genetic roots, annoying and painful symptoms are more likely to show up. And then our motivation can wither.

Because of my background as a National Board–Certified Health Coach and Functional Nutrition Lifestyle Practitioner, I help clients look at their health from both an educational and behavioral lens, not just motivational. Together, we connect the dots, calm the system, and design a plan that fits your lifestyle — one that helps your body heal and flourish long term.
